Just this year, CNBC released a list of places in the United States that are most dangerous to live in terms of being prone to natural disasters. Florida is included in this list. In fact, the news outlet said that the state has one of the biggest damage costs at $225 billion, since 1980, only behind Texas which has the all-time high damage cost due to disasters.
